    Smile Good Morning from Connecticut

    Hello all. My name is Heidi and I am a married mother of two teen daug. (almost 18yr and 13yr)
    Many ions ago I was heavily into frugality. I read Amy Dacyczn and I was a member of Frugalmoms (now defunct).
    I was able to pull myself up by my own bootstraps and clean up our credit. I mean I had really really bad credit and then our credit was so good that the CHFA lenders said that we were the kind of people they loved giving home loans too.
    Then I got sick. I have diabetes and three different auto immune diseases (CFS,FM, and Meneires Disease). But no sob story about that. It has been about 7 years since the diagnosis and I have learned to cope and that is only an issue when it comes to energy.
    When I was sick, I went on disability at work, then I got Social Security. My income generated was cut into half. Hubby works a great stable job (hospital) so there are no worries there.
    It is just trying to juggle with less money than we used to have, two growing teenagers, one is vegetarian so extra on the grocery bill, and old bills that are still sitting there to get paid from when the money was really tight.
    Phew! That was alot. I spilled my guts..

    So I have to relearn all that I have forgotten. I am hoping to be able to get back on the wagon and grasp on for life..

    Good morning and welcome! Lots of smart people here with great advice. We seem to have a couple of things in common, I am a diabetic and I live in Bristol CT. I have also have two daughters ages 19 and 21.

    Thank you all. You are so welcoming..
    My head is spinning. Some things are coming back to me. I am just tired of living paycheck to paycheck. There is one thing I would love to do and that is make our cable basic. But I have three fighters in the family that would make me have to sleep with one eye open if I did that. I did get rid of all the movie channels though.
    I just dont know where to start.
    I am going to have to really sit and read thru this site..
