    Talking Got a job interview Friday afternoon!!!!!

    I put in applications at WalMart and Lowe's in the last few weeks, looking for a night/weekend part-time position. I got a call back from Lowe's today and they want to see me at 3 pm on Friday for a cashier position!!! I know, it's not a high glamour job, but we could really use the $$$$ to help pay off the car and save up for dd#1's school tuition next year.

    That just made my day--I was having such a rotten day up until then

    Good luck. I have been debating about doing the same thing, but with my dhs job it makes it hard. Today he was done work and home by 1pm, the other night he wasn't home until 8pm. Considering there isn't a part-time job that would pay me enough to cover him turning down work to come home and be with the kids is what keeps me from looking for a job. My oldest is 13 but not quite ready to be left with 3 younger siblings yet, especially during the get dinner on the table and do homework hours.
