Smile havent been around for awhile

Havent been posting at all during the last month. I havent really had the time. Things have changed so much in my life since the middle of Dec. Had a death in my family, my godfather passed shortly before xmas, my dad had another health crisis, work was absolutely nuts, and the crazy schedule I had made it impossible to get things done. The major thing is that my dh with my blessing is going into his own business, along with a couple of partners. The best part is that he is able to take the 6 months (yes, that much) vacation and sick time he has built up and use it to collect a weekly salary. so our income for the next six months will not really change. I am going to be extra frugal. I am glad I have this site to come to keep me on tract. Although things will be changing in a big way, I feel pretty good about it. A little scared of the financial end of it, but I think we will be okay. I will be carring the health insurance through my job. The plan isnt as good, but it cost less than cobra.

I hope that with my job getting back to a more normal sched. I will have the time to come to this site daily, like I want to. Unless dh puts me to work in the new business. (more free labor)

Sounds like you've had a crazy few months! It's really nice that your husband can have a regular wage while he's working on setting up his business...I hope it works out well for you!!

    Sorry for your loss Jinx.
Wishing you all the best in the new business adventure. How exciting! Smart guy you have there, saving up his vaca & sick time like that. It sure makes starting the new business less taxing knowing that income is still coming in. Now he can focus all his energy on making this work. What kind of business are they starting?
