    Default we got blasted last night

    we got hit by a snow storm last night & i didn't even know it was coming, thank god for my stockpile. my kids schools closed down for the day. plus i babysit for my friends son when schools closed, so she can still go to work (extra $$$$ for me), plus i have a foster kid........6 kids today i'm going BONKERS!!! plus tuesdays are my big cleaning days.........i guess not today!!! i think we got about 5 inches, plus we have another snow advisory for today until 1am, another 4-6 inches with severe blowing snow & 0 visibility!!!!

    I feel for ya!!! It's been awhile since I had lots of wee little ones home on storm days. I use to babysit years ago (2 yr old). Plus my 4 year old and newborn. Ahhhhh , i hope your day goes fast and trouble free.

    We have been getting hit hard with snow here too. The snow here though is coming everyday at a rate of 2 inches in a day. We have had many 2 hour delays and 1 snowday in the last week. I don't know aobut you but when my kids are home they eat like monsters!!!! My tile is getting worn out in the kitchen!!!LOL!!!! Try not to go to insane today!!!!

    and then it erks me because i was laying on the couch dozing off at 6pm & my dh came in the living room & said "get up, why are you sleeping already"? i am so mad right now, dang can't i relax? grrrrrrrrr!!! i had a few pleasant works for him!!!

    Angie, we zapped by a storm that rolled in at 6:30 this morning. It mixed with lake effect snow and the roads were awful. They didn't cancel school because of the time it hit, lol, but they let out at 12:30 pm today. LOL It cleared up right after my DD got home. Supposed to get more snow tonight, then a break for a day or two, then zapped again when all the really cold arctic air starts coming in. Yep! That's typical northern Indiana winter weather. LOL
    Was yours lake effect?

    We gothit with snow yesterday afternoon. Didn't look too bad and I had to go get my hubby at work. I got caught in a white out that lasted for miles with no place to pull off. I couldn't even see the quardrails beside me.My wipers even froze up with snowballs on the ends.We ended up with around 4 inches in the 1 1/2 I was gone. It usually takes less than an hour to get where he works. This is the second one we've had in a week like that. There was a 2 hour delay this morning . Believe it or not the roads were good but it 3 degrees with a wind chill of -12.
    I really want spring to come. that groundhog better comply on Friday.
