I'm sad
I couldn't figure out why I hadn't gotten my weekly new letter for frugal living from About.com. Today I did a search and found out that About had terminated Pat Veretto's contract. How sad. Before I knew about FV I was getting the news letter from About. I am so grateful for what I have learned from both places, but will miss that weekly news letter, so full of tips and information.

Really? I visit the frugal living forum all the time. Have not visited in a couple of days. I had no idea Pat was terminated. I wonder why. By the way I'm kaykwilts on that board also.

I wondered about not getting mine either. I just figured it was the spam filter acting weird again.

This is the link to Pat's blog. She does more than write for about frugality. Interesting.

Wow... She's really not happy with NYT, is she? Can't say I blame her. What a kick in the bum. Too bad, she had some great ideas. Though I can understand what she means, how stifling writing about the same thing can be.

Thanks for the new links. I enjoyed getting the About emails once a week and would play around in that web site.
