Default My basement drain is clogged!

A few minutes ago I went downstairs to get something out of the pantry and noticed water in the hallway. I went into the laundry room to check what was going on and saw a huge lake around my basement drain! And dh is out of town working. So I called Roto-Rooter and they will be here in about an hour. Darn it...why did this have to happen?

Oh man that is like me--dh went for his checkup--not good and I got to buy $250 worth of meds he will need on a monthly basis.

There went any excess money I had....sigh

Hopefully it can be fixed easily and cheaply.

    Good luck.

Ouch, good luck! maybe it is something silly/easy to deal with and not a huge job.

The Roto-Rooter guy just left. He said it was food from the garbage disposal upstairs that caused the clog. He was here about a half hour and it cost me $177.67! Fortunately dh made extra money last payday so I wrote a check and stayed away from the credit card.

Wow, that's a lot of money for a half hour's work!! At least the drain is fixed, though. I hope nothing else acts up so you can save up again.
