Florida Tornado's!

Have been watching the coverage all morning on Fox news. I'm hearing now that another active tornado is on the ground just west of I-95 near the Fellsmere area! This new tornado is heading east towards the coast at 45 mph. This is horrible!

I didn't know Florida has tornados. I thought they just had hurricanes.

Ya, I didn't know that Florida had tornados either.. I hope everyone in the area is safe.. I know they are reporting fatalities, but won't say or estimate how many.. The pitures are just devastating... Prayers being sent to all affected.... Wierd and wicked weather we are having.

I pray our Village Floridians are ok, safe and that they will report in when they can. I hope the florida residents take care, heed warnings, and are safe! What a tragedy for the loss they have already met.

It was storming like heck all night! Most of the tornadoes were about 40 -50 miles East of us. We had strong winds, lots of lightning!

Yes, we actually do get alot of tornadoes in Florida. Usually they are associated with the hurricanes, but our thunderstorms are very strong down here because of the humidity, so we always have tornado warnings.

FL Tornados are very weird here in FL and so are Water Spouts. They can just come out of the blue sometimes. I am living very close to some of them and my brother is close to the other ones. The phone traffic is very bad so I haven't been able to get through to him yet to see if he's ok.

I have family and friends in FL. I hope everyone is safe. I am pretty sure my family is. Not sure about my friend yet.

All is well here in Bradenton just soggy. Worked on jobsite yesterday over near highway 27 saw the Red Cross and Emergency Stuff going North. But we're okay.
