Definitely going for the Bears. We're smack dab in the middle of Bear country here, and DH is a huge sports fan. Plus, my uncle played was a linebacker for the Bears in the 1960's. Bear Down!!

Wow, I have to say that was one of the more boring Superbowl games. I was uninterested during the whole second half. Most of my friends and I were just talking.

I didn't watch too much of the game after all...LOL didn't have to. Dh was making way too much noise for me not to know what was happening...
Congratulations to the Indianapolis Colts!

I have to admit that I was a little worried at the beginning when the Bears scored that TD so early, but the Colts seemed to calm down and play better ball. That interception and TD run was sweet! We couldn't yell because all the kids were in bed, but we were celebrating anyway.
Probably not as close of a game to make it exciting, but to us in Indianapolis and the whole of Indiana, it is very thrilling to win something like this. We listened to sports columnists and us poke fun at us for the last couple of weeks because we are not as 'sophisticated' as Chicago, that we are a bunch of rednecks and inbreds, etc. Granted, we are used to it, but it is still annoying. They can call us whatever they want, because we have the Super Bowl champs!
And I will say that Coach Dungy is a very class act...never seems to lose his cool (I hear he is a very even-tempered kind of guy). The whole Colts organization made us proud this year.
I learned a lot about football last night (I don't hate the sport, just never understood it), and I plan on learning more before the next season.
Okay, it's time for NASCAR!
