A new clip about leaving a child in the car below zero weather!
They just had a clip on the news about a parent in MN leaving a 14 month old in the car for 30 min. She was improperly dressed for the weather and the car was not running. They said the poor baby had frost bite! It has been sub-zero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankfully they took the child into protective custody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~July 19 saving goal for event $104/$1000

What were those parents thinking! You can't leave a baby in the car alone in any kind of weather. Were they on drugs or something? No sane person could do something like that to an innocent baby.

Sick, sick, sick. I won't leave my kids alone for three seconds, much less 30 minutes. They should be charged with attempted murder in my opinion.

The horrible weather aside,Anyone could have stolen that child and did who knows what kind of perversions to it.
We don't even let our youngest play in the front yard and she is 11 let alone leave her by herself!
Grrrr!
I hope charges will be filed.

I just saw on the tv a brand new newborn left outside in _30 weather. The man heard the dogs and never thought nothing of it, then decided to go warm up th car, and behold a bay. They took the baby in, called 911 and services came and got it. The bay had mild frostbite.

Poor little babies. It's lucky they were still alive, I don't know what goes through some "parent's" minds. In these cases it seems like NOT much!!

...

I don't have children. I am not around children that often. I really don't have much experience with children.
But please, tell me how it's possible to "forget" your baby.
That's like saying, "Oh, I forgot my arm in the car!" or "Oh, shoot, my brain got left on the kitchen table."
It infuriates me to see people leave their pets in a hot car in the summer. Those cars can become literal ovens in the hot climates! Poor animals can barely breathe, let alone survive. And babies are no better.
I just plain cannot fathom how someone could leave a baby or a pet in a car for any reason or for any amount of time.

Here in SoCal they prefer to roast them in the oven (aka closed car) in 100+ heat.
Argh!
I HATE irresponsible parents, and I DON'T EVEN HAVE kids.

It's so sad. We had a woman leave her 1 month old baby outside in the car in 85 degree weather, with the windows up for 3 hours while she sat in a nice, air conditioned crack house getting high! She told the police she was scared to leave the windows down cause someone might steal her baby. In this case, that may have been a blessing!
