Yep-- we got the blizzard warning here, earlier this morning. I can't see the trees across the road, can't see my barn.

We're hunkering down, and staying put-- but my son is driving a rural mail route today! Praying he makes it safely.

We are supposed to have 4 to 6 inches by this evening and then heavier snow overnight with an overall forecast of 12-16 inches by tomorrow. Also, thunder and lightning during the height of the storm!!

We are now supposed to be getting 12 plus inches. It has snowing like crazy since early this morning. Of course, schools and local colleges are closed and a near county is under a Level 2 emergency which means that you aren't suppose to be on the roads unless going to work or emergencies. You can be fined. Dh is at work, hope he makes it home okay.

Oh no, bless your heart. LOL, now don't you loose it and go running outside only to be found later in a snowdrift. Hang in there and stay safe, warm and sane.

We have proably 6-7" right now and we are suppose to have up to 16" or more by this time Wed. I am not thrilled at all. Glad I don't have to go out anywhere that is for sure. I think it is pretty and all but I really wish for spring time soon.

They cancelled school today and we will most likely not have any tom either but I don't have kids to know worry there. My dog loves to go out and play in the snow I told him when dh gets up they could go shovel some I am not going out unless I had to. They are saying to stay off the roads if you don't have to be out and that is fine with me. Dh works for the railroad so he will have to work but it only takes him less then 10 minutes to get to work maybe a little more tonight since we are having blowing and drifting also.

    Stay safe and warm everyone!!

We're also under a blizzard warning here in Central IL. I cannot believe how hard it's blowing!! They county has stopped plowing because the plow drivers can't see the roads because of the whiteout conditions. And hubby is currently making a 35-mile drive home in this.

Everyone stay safe! We are expecting the snow to start here this evening and through Wednesday night. Right now they are saying 12 inches for tonight and after tomorrow's storm they are predicting 20-30 inches of total snow fall in this area. There are "heavy" snow warnings posted all over the tv.
I am doing my shopping this afternoon, not sure when I will be able to run errands again this week. Everyone take care
