Terrible day!
This morning, I get to work, and after 1/2 an hour get a call from my friend, she puts dd on bus in the morning, telling me that my dog is missing! OMG! I go home (1/2 hour drive), and my friend had to go to work, so I'm calling him, walking around the streets, in the cow pasture, etc... Meanwhile I call dh 4 times on his cell, he calls back and comes home. We go looking in the truck, and finally found him about 4 blocks (country blocks) away, with another dog! I was so distraught all day, I couldn't concentrate on work! Thank goodness we found him!

I'm so glad that you found your dog! I remember one morning as I was leaving for work right after DH and I moved in together I left the porch door open and one of his cats was missing - I felt terrible about losing his cat, although we did eventually find her. I know how nerve-wracking it can be!

I am so glad you found your dog. My dog is such a part of my family so I can feel the pain you must have felt when you were looking for your dog.
Extra dog treats will be given out at your house tonight, yes?

Hey Julie, maybe this is a sure sign that spring is in the air! Even where you are, heck with the groundhog, your dog is the harbinger of Spring.
Now stay home pooch, we got the mesage.

I am so glad you found him! You must have been so scared. Twice now our cats have gone exploring the apartment building we live in. It is a horrible time between knowing they are missing until you find them safe and sound.

Glad poochie is back home safe and sound. It does scare you when they take off like that.

How scarey
So glad you found him. One of my guys got loose yesterday too. Thankfully he's the one that always comes back home on his own. The other one will not. He just runs and runs until someone finds him and calls me. After the first incident years ago, I got a collar embroidered with his name and our phone# on it.

Glad you found your dog. It is scary when our pets venture off on their own, they don't understand that we worry about their safety & how much we love them.

I'm so happy for you that it ended well, and I feel your stress about the whole day! Some of us are as committed to our pets as the rest of our families, and it is SOOO painful to worry! Hope you can do somthing nice to relax now.
