New here. . . and HELP!
Hello out there! I just came across this forum. I'm very passionate about frugal living and really need to learn a lot more! I am currently pregnant with TRIPLETS
and on bedrest for a few months, so I will be unable to work. We're excited about the babies and also petrified! One baby is an added expense, but 3 is unbelievable, especially since I am on leave without pay. Does anyone know of any aid for parents expecting multiples? I've heard they are out there, but haven't had much luck finding them. Thank you!

Some repeats of the above list, but here's a link to a bunch of freebies/coupons for multiple births. I think the free diaper genie is the best thing on the list - I got one at my baby shower and we love it.

You could try Ivillage. com. They have a lot of groups on there and I'm sure they have one for multiples.

I have triplets who are now 8
There are companies out there that will send free things and coupons, truely there aren't that many who still do this but some will. The pedi. you have can also be helpful, we had to have neosure formula which is a lot more expensive then regular and our pedi. came me a case every time I went (every 2 weeks).
I would suggest you go to most online (MOST is mothers of super twins) http://www.mostonline.org/
It is a great support group. And there are people who belong to MOST all over the country
Where do you live?
I would also suggest you look into seeing if there is a local support group, you can chat and met others in your area with multiples. Just being able to talk to someone who has been there is helpful I find!
Any questions you can pm me and I will give you my email address and phone number if you like.

I don't know what your family income is, but there are programs such as WIC, and food stamps available. In Kansas, a family of three can earn up to $1,799 a month and qualify for food stamp assistance. I am sure with a family of five (which you will soon have, assuming you have no other children) the income limits are much higher. I hope my suggestion is not an insult, we get some food stamp assistance, and it has been a great help. My DH works two jobs, and is a full-time student.

Here is a link to a screening tool anyone can use to check their eligibility for the food stamp program:
