Anybody know how a VA Loan works?
Could you please give me information on what the advantages are for buying a home through them?

I'd be interested to know also. My son will be getting a VA loan in a little over a year and I know nothing about them.

A V.A loan is like a regular loan but the V.A. will help with your down payment and closing costs of a house. If you dont have the money they will roll it into your loan amount. The are very strict about what shape the house you might be trying to by is in. Dh and I bought our first home with a V.A loan. We had good credit but not the money for a down or closing.
