New Here
Hi everyone,
I too am a new person here. I'm 33 and have a husband but no kids (I do have a great cat, though!). I've lived in Turkey for the past 8 years because my lovely husband is Turkish. Some of the things I like about living here are that most people are naturally frugal because it isn't a rich nation like the U.S. so there is less consumerism and the fruits and veggies are fresh and cheap.
I like finding new ways to save money and I love shopping at second-hand stores when I come back to the U.S. every few years to visit.

Hi there!
Welcome to Frugal Village! Your cat wouldn't be a Turkish Van, by any chance?

Thanks everybody!
No, my cat is just an ordinary but adorable cat who found me on the street.
Actually, by looks, he could be the brother of your cat!
