    Default Sam's Club :D

I finally broke down and got a membership to Sam's Club yesterday. I joined with my friend and it only cost us $20 each. I was tempted to go crazy in there, but I think I did pretty well. I bough 36 Ramen Noodles, 40 Capri Suns, 15 boxes of Macaroni and Cheese, 64 Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets, and 12 Honey Buns. It only cost me $33.61. I could be wrong but I thought that was a great deal.

We try to be very specific about what we are buying before we head into Sam's as it is so easy to want things not on the list. We make up the cost of membership pretty quick off just the basics (razor blade refills alone make it up). The meat counters are a big help for our budget. When we move to a house it will help more but in a 2 BR apt there isn't much room for additional stock piling. Gratz on taking the plunge!

I love going to Sam's club. It's easy to go nuts, though...and they're not always the best deal. You really have to know your prices! But I always buy dog food and a lot of produce(during the winter) there. Sometimes meat, depending on whether or not I go to the butcher shop. And I love the fact that I only go once a month--just the savings in gas will pay for the membership lol!

It sounds like you got some good deals--have fun

Sams is the BEST place for school lunch stuff. I spend a nice chunk of $$ but dd eats for MONTHS so I save some $$$, gas and my time.

Yes, I want to grab everything I see but I don't.

    It is so hard!

I love Sams Club, I figure that the cost of milk there covers my yearly membership fee. Our family averages 6 gallons of milk a week, at Sams it was $2.29 last friday when I was there, I can't get milk for less then $3 anyplace else.

I don't have a membership, but my parents do. I go with them when they go. One day I will need to get my own card. I agree you have to have a list when you go in there, because for me if I don't I want to buy things that I'll use but really don't need.

    Good job on your shopping.
