    Default Tuesday...Tuesday

    Morning all!
Today our schools are closed due to wind chill. It is about -23 here right now. The wind is crazy. It has created HUGE drifts on the road. Can you believe we are into March with weather like this?
I am hoping to use this extra day off to clean up a bit around here. We seem to be soooo busy lately, that we are getting behind in our house chores.
But first I am going to have an extra cup of coffee and watch the rest of The Today Show. I never get to see it.

What is everyone else up to?
    Have a wonderful day!

Temps here are a whopping 6*--not sure what the wind chill is but it is COLD! Even the dogs didn't want to go out. And both kids asked twice to make certain I would be picking them up from school, not walking home lol!

Today is all mine!! Until 3, anyway. I cleaned everything yesterday, the laundry is done, and all I have to do is consume lots of caffeine.

Today is in the negatives (so they say) and with the wind chill supposed to get even colder, yikes!

~ Wash a laundry and some blankets
    ~ Get oil delivered today
~ Straighten up around the house
~ Cook dinner early (baked chicken, white rice and pink beans)
~ Do some organizing using some storage boxes I found while de-cluttering
~ Relax, drink some diet pepsi, watch some TV

C-c-c-cold here too! The kids are out of school because of the wind chill values (-22*F when I checked at 8:30am). The benefits of living in a 'city' and the kids having to walk to school I guess.

I have a meteorology test that I need to take sometime today. I was hoping to take it while the kids were at school, but there goes that. Now I have to try to get it done while they are home and up my butt.

I have two classes today, I don't wanna go out in the cold!! There's laundry to be done, the dishwasher to load. Gotta sweep & mop the kitchen and vacuum the downstairs.

Looks like we are having spring like weather today (59/60). We have students at the facility at work so I should have a pretty quiet day. On the home front we have switched to the commission basis of chores like D. Ramsey recommended so I am only worried about what chore I am doing which will be dining room. Took my final this Saturday so there is no school work to worry about- I am enjoying that.
Dinner tonight will be tater tots, sauted zucchini and meatballs.

    ~It's windy and cold here, too. About 20*, I think, but sunny! We've had breakfast and I've folded and put away a load of laundry. I've also started a load of darks and checked my email. After I get dressed and make the beds I should;
    -unload/load dishwasher
    -freeze chicken breasts
-vacuum living room, hall and bedrooms
    -dust/swipe
    -sweep and mop kitchen
-aim for and enjoy 4 hours unplugged today
-enjoy some hoagies for dinner and then go to the in-laws for the evening
    -American Idol tonight, yey!

Stay warm and have a great day everyone!

Today will be 74º but it is still 45º as I type.

I have to go pay a bill.
    I MUST take a shower...really....
I need to seal and list a tissue box cover on ebay.
Need to send an ebay invoice when 2 of my items go off today.
I am picking up my neice from kindergarten because my sister has a dr appointment.
I did a quick house clean already but have a few areas that need attention.
I hope to get a paper towel holder painted to list on Ebay. I already have a lot done on it so.....
    I have laundry going.

Oh and my circuit popped in my kitchen so I am going to have to have that fixed. For some reason it came back on after a week and I was excited to JUST USE THE LIGHT again and dh walks in there and turns on the rinse on the dishwasher to"see what happens" and popped it again.

I need to add to my list--kill dh for taking away my LIGHT!

I mean really, if you have an electrical problem that suddenly "fixes" itself you still need to call the electrician so you don't have a FIRE!

    nuts!

It is really spring around here - we are on the temperature roller coaster. Yesterday mid-60s winds SW, today low 50s winds NE, tomorrow mid 60s, winds SW, etc. Otherwise it is the same old thing. DH does have to work late, so we will be having a 'kids' dinner and just relaxing this evening.

    So far
~I've gotten everybody up and had breakfast
    ~ I've taken a shower
    ~ Started the dishwasher
~ Collected laundry for a load later today
~ Filled in March calendar with activities

    The rest of the day:
    ~ Choir class
    ~ Lessons
~ Laundry & hang a load to dry
    ~ Clean children's bathroom - Yuck
~ Fix baked potatos & defrost some chili for dinner
~ Knit/read during our quiet time
~ play some board games with the kids tonight
~ wash today's dishes by hand

I have been trying to stay motivated since I posted this morning!
    Since then I have:
~cleaned the playroom, living room, decluttered kitchen
    ~vacummed all of downstairs.
~ took out hamburger for dinner
~rechecked grocery ads for a trip tomorrow
    ~ one load of laundry

my DD and DS are going to head upstair with me in a few minutes to declutter bedrooms.
They seem to get a lot done if I give them a 15 minute time limit..gotta love the Flylady for that tip

It's sunny out right now, but only -14 degrees with the windchill. I have quite a few chores to complete today. I woke up earlier than usual because the fire alarm battery is low in the hallway of my apartment building, it keeps beeping every few minutes (annoying). I called the office so hopefully they will send someone to fix that today.

I need to do laundry, clean the kitty litter, vacuum the floor, and clean the kitchen and bathroom today. I am going to start those chores in 30 minutes after I eat something and have some tea or coffee.
