Change of plans for Monday
Well I have called my mom to tell her I may have to take her dog home early (I dog sit) I called my in-laws to ask them if they can watch DD. And I convinced DH to go to the hospital!!!! He has not been feeling well and complaining about chest pain and just not feeling well. Finally he called me today and I knew something was wrong. He said he just doesn't feel well. You have to know my DH in the almost 11 years we have been together he has gone to the Dr's. twice (not includeding our car accident) He never complains about being sick or not feeling well, and this is day 4. He may have just pulled something but with his family history in males plus he is a smoker I told him he really needs to go to the hospital. He was snoring loud last night and then stopped ( i think he has sleep apnea) I had to wake him up and tell him to breath. He was just going to go to a walk in clinic but I told him that they would just go right ahead and send him on to the hospital. But he won't leave work until his boss gets back even though there are others that could deal with the truckers.
So I think it is going to be a long long night.

Make sure he goes!! Men have a tendancy to go for One-Stop-Shopping...ER visits only. Never a check-up they wait til they're really not well. I work in ER medicine as a research asst and cardiac arrests is our main study right now. I say better safe than sorry and let us know what happens.

I'm so sorry your DH isn't feeling well. Get him to go to the ER as soon as possible. Don't let him put it off. I will be saying prayers for your family.

Those symptoms could definitely be signs of an impending cardiovascular event (i.e., heart attack), especially since he is a smoker. Please go immediately to the nearest emergency department for an evaluation. I'm praying for you that it is nothing to worry about, but better safe than sorry.

Well it was a long night. They did an EEG and blood work but they said they didn't show anything (it could also be because he came in to late, My mom is a nurse and she said there is only a timeframe that the test would show up) So when they finally let us leave the Dr. told him they can't rule out that it is his heart. So they are sending him for a stress test on Thursday.
He says he has been scared into taking better care of himself. When we left I finally broke down in tears and when he asked I told him how scared I was. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the stress test comes back fine and that maybe it was just his body giving him a warning to start taking care of himself.
Thank you all for keeping us in your prayers and thoughts.
