Default What to make with my honor cords?

    Hello!

I have a number of honor cords from my high school and college graduations and while they are useless, I am proud of them and would like to keep them. I don't like them just hanging around and am not a huge fan of the colors for decoration.

Any ideas of how I could repurpose them in a useful way (and in a way that won't damage them)? The colors are gold; gold with gold & blue tassels; gold & blue twisted; gold, white, and red. So they can all sort of go together ... I also have silver ones but they are knotted in a special fashion so they hang under my B.A. diploma.

    Ideas?

Can they be used as curtain tie backs, or sew the tassels to the corners on pillows for something functional, or decorate a bulletin board on the corners or use to decorate a wall hanging? I thought of another use for tassels..but it is a bit risque' & naughty

We took DH's and had them matted and framed together with his Bachelor's diploma.
