I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to see or hear about your next door neighbor's reaction when she realizes you are fencing her out .

Sounds good to me. let us know how long before she grips.
I don't think I'd like living that close to my neighbors.

Yahoo!!! (Why do we have to have at least one of these neighbors? At least mine is across the gravel road and down a few hundred feet.)

Hope this brings peace to you and yours.

I bet you she is saying a few nasty words under her breath, If she calls the cops there isnt anything they can do really, it's not after noise ordinance time so the wicked neighbor loses this time!

That didn't take long. She's already been out, stood on her porch & walked to the end of the driveway. Saw my dh out there and walked back into her house with a smirk on her face.

I dare her to call the police or codes office. The fence company just left the codes office (which is just a couple blocks away) before coming here to start.

The beginning of the barrier will be up today...the fence posts. Then I think they will come Friday afternoon to put up the actual panels which will take 30 mins tops.

    YAHOOO!!!!!!

I've got my fingers crossed for you! Do the workers think it's odd that you're putting a fence in the middle of the driveway?

AmandaW - no it's not unusual. I guess they had a really bad case last year where the police were called half a dozen times during the 2 days it took to put up the fence along a double driveway

The problem is, people pave the driveways as one because they are friends with the current neighbors or whatever. Then they all sell their homes and those who buy it after them have to deal with whatever else comes along.

We lived here over a year with very little problems with the driveway usage until she moved in two years ago.

I love it. I'm glad you're doing this. Your house is beautiful and I'm sure you never thought you'd have someone like this as a neighbor.

I'm happy you won't have to deal with it anymore.
