What to do???!!!???

:surprise: DF's check was deposited on Friday. I paid some bills, forgetting the phone was getting direct paid today... now we only have $11.03 for the week...

I am going to get by with what I have in the freezer, but it's school vacation this week. I can't believe I only have $11 until Friday!!!

I know she needs milk for the week, I don't have df's lunches for the week yet and I need extra because dd will be eating at home this week. (school vacation)

Has anyone else been in this spot? If you have, please let me know I am not alone.

I have been there many many times, I say dont worry about it, yes this is coming from a person who hates having less than $100 in the bank till next payday but I've been down to almost nothing and nothing bad came out of it. Try to look around the house for some change that you can use as well but dont bust out a CC if you have one. Things will turn out just fine

Can the phone company send you a check right away for the double payment? That should help. I'm sorry you are in this predicament, you will get through it though. Hang in there!

Unfortunately, it isn't a double payment... I forgot Vonage was coming out of this check, and I mailed off the OTHER bills....

Oh, I'm sorry hon, I misunderstood! Keep your chin up, you are a smart woman and I know you will find a way. It wouldn't hurt to try your local food bank to help get by this week.

I have been where you are. After my first husband passed away, it was really hard financially. I have been down to just mac and cheese to feed my kids. It is a tough spot that you are in. I always found a way to get by and you will too. I don't know if you have any of these kind of thrift stores around, but around my neck of the woods, we have several thrift stores that will pay you for clothing and such. You might check that out and it would give you a little cash and you can declutter at the same time....Blessing and I will pray for you this week..Kathy

Check the local food pantry, and/or churches. You don't have to be a part of them (at least not in this area) to get food.
