i wish to petition a store to come to my state…

There is a Japanese chain of stores that are very awesome and in the last few years opened a few on the west cost of the US. They are basically a Japanese dollar store.

I wish to send them a petition to come to Minnesota and open a store in the metro area.

So fair I have written a letter telling them about the area and how the Japanese/anime fandom is vibrant here and how there are tons of people and no competition for them. Should I make this letter formal? Should I get people who are “some buddy” to sign?

I am thinking about going to my collage to get some signatures. Does anyone know how many would be good to get? I could go other places to get signatures.

Does anyone have any advice or ideas on how to do this?

This is an investment opportunity. Are they set up as franchises? Even if not, having local investors approach the company often helps.

Of course, I don't know many 'rich people' to offer you advice there... I'd think that just putting the idea in the right ears of those with $$$ to invest would get the ball rolling.

Does the company do business online? Your letters may bring it to their attention that they draw a good business from your city (if they don't notice anyway).

As a side note.... my husband & I once inquired about opening an "Auntie Anne's Pretzel" franchise. At the time (maybe 5 years ago) we found that we would need $250,000 cash to invest, which could not be equity.

Operating a small franchise would be my dream job. Oh, well!
