    Default Wish Me Luck

We are having a Yard Sale today and I am asking for some good thoughts to be sent my way today. We are starting at 8 am and I hope a big majority of things sell.

I will jump start our EF with this money but I also want to re-do our bedroom and kitchen/dining room with what I earn today (paint and decor).

    Thanks in advance!

Hope everything went well at your rummage sale. Let us know how you made out. I am going to have a rummage sale at my girlfriends the end of this May. All of my money is going to go to my car payment.

Good Morning Everyone! We had a good day yesterday. We started at 8 am and went until 3 pm. We sold just about everything! I had one customer come up and ask about buying a whole table of knick-knacks. DH said they probably re-sell at Flea Market....so he made me an offer and I took it..one table gone. DS sold some video games but was a little disappointed that he didn't sell all of them so I told him that we would put an ad on local Craigslist to sell and as a last resort sell on Ebay, DS made $60.00 with his clothes and games. I allowed him to keep all his money (he totally cleaned out his room and tagged everything in prep for sale). DH sold $300.00 worth of motorcycle parts and CB radios. CB's and motorcycles are his hobby so I told him that he could keep all his money (he cleaned out his CB room and garage in prep for the sale) and he could support his hobbies with what he made. He was VERY excited and last night he got on the CB with his cronies and wheeled and dealed. He said he has some buddies coming by today to buy some more stuff. I am proud of myself too....I made $125.00. I gave the dog groomer cash for the dog grooming yesterday, filled up my car with gas for the week and put 30.00 towards my bedroom/kithcen/dining room make-over. I even have a little bit for my wallet...I like having a few dollars to carry around.

Overall, we had a great day. I am expecially proud of DH and DS for pitching in and helping. I knew if I told them they could keep the money they made, they would be all excited and it worked. It also feels good to clean out the house of unnecessay items.
