Red face Took DS to the doctor today

for his annual check up. The first question the doctor asked him was if he liked to play outside. DS (4 yrs. old) replied, "No. The only thing I like to do is watch t.v." I wanted to die on the spot!!! This from the child who doesn't sit still for five seconds to watch t.v. We're ALWAYS outside playing. AAARRGHHHH!!!!!

The doctor thought it was very funny. He must have seen my chin drop. My only saving grace was that for the rest of the visit, ds was disagreeing with everything the doctor said. Like the dr. asked him what he wears when he rides his bike and ds said, "I never wear a helmet!"

The dr. thought he was too funny.

my mom always said kids could easily put any of their parents in jail, or just hang us outright with what comes out of their mouths

I expect they see a lot of that. Mine made up a new father one time, and since his Dr.'s wife was a close friend and coworker of mine, Ben KNEW that was just playing/imagination.

    Too funny is right!

I remember having quite a few of those moments when my kids were little.
