Please help? Over 350,000 million bday cards needed.
There is a sick 7yr old boy in Canada who wants to beat a world record to get over 350,000 million birthday card. There is only 18 days left. Maybe you are a teacher and you could get your class to do this. They dont have to be store bought you can make them. For the cost of one stamp you could make his wish come true. IF you can help please go to this link

How neat! I'll go check it out and send one. I know cards helped my niece so much in the burn ward. Ok I sent it to everyone in my address book.

Thanks so much for the link, I'm going to get a card sent out this coming week.

At first I thought, oh no when I read this because I remember about the other little boy who had wanted alot of cards but then got so many that they wanted people to quit sending them. *lol*
But, I did a search to check it out and see that this is an entirely different little boy.
Love,
Jennelle
P.S. I'm gonna post this on my blog so that maybe others will see it and send a card as well!

I did check Snopes, and this is a legitimate story, however the Guiness book is no longer accepting this category "most greeting cards" as a viable entry since a boy in the UK received 33 million cards, and continues to receive them to this day. It has wrecked havoc with his family, the local postal system, and more. The family has even had to move, trying to escape the incoming cards. This has been ongoing since 1991.

Holly cow! That poor family. I guess thats why a post office box would have been a better idea. I can see how this could get out of hand. They should put a very large disclaimer that they will no longer accept cards after the dead line. Weither its a viable category for guines or not I dont think matters to him he is just setting a personal goal.
