Witnessed A Car Wreck yesterday

We were comming home from shopping and all of a sudden in front of us was nothing but dust.
A dumb woman ( jmho) did and illegal U turn in front of a man and his 2 teenage daughters.
The lady had 3 little kids in her van. 10 moth old baby, 2 1/2 year old and a 7 year old.
There was 3 cars ahead of us. They just went around it and kept on going. We pulled over and called 911.
The man and his dds we're ok except on girl got nailed with the airbag.
They took the 2 1/2 and 7 year old and the mother to the hospital.
The 7 year old hit her head on the windshield. ( don't think she was in a booster seat or strapped in )
It was the ladies fault and if I wasn't a member of the fireman 's auxillary I propably would have told her she had no brain.
She said the kids wanted to go back to a friends house. So she did a u turn.
Then she tried to tell the cop she was turning left. ( If she was she was turning into a bunch of trees , there was no driveway there )
Some people just make no sense.

Dang! They are lucky!

My sister's car was just totalled by some lady trying to pass her on the left when my sister was turning left (into a driveway). Just missed t-boning her little cavelier by inches.

People need to pay more attention when driving. They are lucky it wasn't worse.

I was thinking about the same thing Annymoll.
I still freeze up going through stop signs or lights.
She said the same stupid thing the guy that hit us said. I didn't see them.
Wish people would open the darn eyes.
