Default anyone else having primary elections?

We are having our primary elections for governor next week. I am soooo sick of ads LOL! Well, I was doing some reading and stumbled across this article about how kids are not really being taught civics. I haven't really thought about it but it is nice to know that something is being done about it in this state. Is that a problem everywhere?

We don't have any primaries right now but I'm already sick of the Election 2008 stuff going on. Remember the days when we actually got a break between election cycles? Seems like it never stops these days!
