Default 80 lbs of Bananas for $2!!!!

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but..............I was out yesterday morning & passed a fruit & vegetable stand..their sign outside said they were selling 7 lbs of bananas for $1.(the regular grocery store sells theirs 2 lbs for $1) I go in & explore and much to my surprise..they gave me 2 HUGE boxes of bananas -40lbs each- for $1 a piece!!!! And they were good...hardly any bruises at all - yeeeehaw!. I saved some back for snacks & breakfast, gave a few bunches to my neighbor & mashed up the rest & put it in the freezer for making breads, etc.

Wish I could find a deal like that. I freeze bananas and use them in smoothies.

We love bananas! Wish I could find a deal like that. I'm having visions of endless banana bread, banana muffins & smoothies. Nothing better than a cold banana smoothie on a hot summer day.

Thats wonderful. With the high prices of gas and food anymore that was a huge blessing. Enjoy, every one of them.
