How proud you must be to have such a great kid! What a great story. I will be watching your posts to see how he is doing in boot camp. God bless your son!

Traci, you have every right to be proud. You have raised an exceptional young man. How soon after graduation is he reporting to Paris Island? Our son Shane went into the Army a week after graduating high school. Goodness, if you think High School graduation makes you a proud momma, just wait till he graduates Marine boot camp! I will always remember how handsome Shane was in his uniform, receiving his honors.
Please tell Chris he has the whole village cheering him on, and we are all so proud of him. Please keep us posted with updates and pics. Chris and your family are in our prayers also.
Godspeed Chris

He leaves less than a week after he graduates. He won't have much time for anything. It will be a hectic week to say the least. I know I will cry like a baby when he leaves for bootcamp. He is really looking forward to it. Me, not so much. But I know he will look handsome in that uniform.
