Third time's a charm?
Well, we came down on the price of our house this morning for the third time. We also asked our agent to put on the Multiple Listing Service "OWNER MOTIVATED TO SELL!" (because we sure are motivated!
)
Oh, I really hope and pray it works!! We are out of ideas and at rock bottom price for our area. So, I am home just cleaning and waiting for the phone to start ringing off the hook! hahaha

Good luck. Have you tried any feng shui techniques? I know they have a ton of books at the library and stuff all over the internet. It's worth looking into.

My next door neighbor added a home warranty and her house sold within a week after adding that.

Oooh hopefully you'll get lots of offers! Maybe even above asking price as a "bidding war" ensues

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your kind thoughts. Still waiting for my phone to ring . . .

DH and I started talking last night about moving in July (out of state) anyway, even if the house hasn't sold by then. Then it would be empty and our agent could do open houses any time and he could put a lockbox on and people could just come and go without an appointment. It is risky, but we're slightly considering it. If it didn't sell after a few months, we would have to rent it I guess.
Anyone else been in this predicament?

Sending Best wishes ,, you need to really "think" about renting your house out. Having rentals for several years, ( down to one now), man people can destroy your house in no time. You have to have some one you trust check on it all the time.
Hoping things work out for you!

Yes, I agree we really need to think about it before renting the house out. It would only be as our very last resort if we were in a financial bind. I really hope it doesn't come down to that and we sell in May or June.
