    Default What I did with

all the scrap material I had......... I had this container about 18 gallon size of left over material from different projects. So I decided to make some patchwork blankets.......... So far I have 2 baby blankets 44x54 and 3 large blankets 60x108 This are just the tops. It looks like I have enough for another one 60x108. Now all I need is the backs. Its taken me about 6 weeks to do this.

That's great! Can you post pictures of your projects? I'd love to see them.

I found another great use up the scraps idea on line the other night -- it's a wrap for soda cans. I made one yesterday morning and it's really a neat thing. It only took a few minutes to make. It called for a 20" strip, but you could also use two 10" ones, since one is the inside, one the outside. I thought it needed to be about 1/4" longer, but maybe it was the way I sewed the seams. I'll be making more I'm sure. Here's the link:

That's great, Fern! That is a nice way to use up all your scrap material.
