Default Yeah me! I have lost 6lbs in less than 2 weeks!

I am not counting calories or carbs I am doing the fiber 35 diet. I bought the book, upped my fiber, eat lean meats and fruits and veggies, no cokes period regular OR diet, and I am just melting.

My stomach pudge is almost completely gone and that was my problem area!

I am making a life change to healthy everyday eating and I am taking my family along for the ride. No more junk in my house!

I am so excited, finally a way to lose weight and keep it off without really trying AND I eat 6 times a day!

Any of you gals need to drop a few pounds should look into upping your fiber, lose the junk and get rid of the cokes--diet is just as bad.
The math never lies, budget in INK!

Good for you! I'm in the same boat. I've been making some real changes just trying to be healthy, eating balanced meals, very few processed grains, etc. I've so far only dropped one pound this month, but I have dropped a pants size. My fat is being replaced with muscle. woo hoo, I don't mind weighing this much if it's muscle instead of fat! Congrats to you!!!

I have heard this before from someone. My mum is on the LA weightless and has lost tons of weight as she drank tons of diet soda. I weight about 140 and most of that is muscle. I drink diet soda all the time.

Logically, they shouldn’t cause any weight gain. The only thing that could be damaging is the amount of sodium {salt}. And that can be solved by simply drinking water.

I would like to know were you got your information about Diet soda being bad.

I don't think I good give up soda. I mean, I'd love to lose weight, but I'm just not ready to give up my diet coke.

I think you misunderstand. She is saying the opposite. Diet soda is ok to drink, as there is no logical reason it would be bad.

I think the sweetener in the diet soft drinks is what shes referring to. You're not filling your body or supplying it with natural food sources. Diet soda is in essence processed b/c its got the sweetener in it and regular cola would be as bad b/c its all sugar and chemicals and dyes...I think thats what she meant.

I switched to a modified version of the South Beach Diet and have lost a few lb's myself...its basically the same idea. I too eat about 6 times a day, I find I actually struggle to eat the 6 times a day vs when I first started. Maybe my body has finally taken to the better food choices Ive been making. More fibre, natural foods/whole foods - no processed stuff. Basically foods that dont have a high glycemic value which usually is fibre. Which is bonus b/c fibre lowers your cholesterol Thats what the doctor means by a 'proper diet' (boring bland food lol) and exercise. I just need to work on the latter part now to UP my weight loss factor....whos got the motivation jar? Me thinks they need to shareth! LOL
