    Smile Happy Hurricane Season Friday!

    What's going on today?

I need to go to the bank this morning. Then go to Dollar Tree for favors for dd's party tomorrow. No one has called so I only know of 2 that are coming for sure. How many favors should I buy?

Then home to do some housework, for a bit. It is supposed to rain today and tonight, we really need it bad! Then it is off to dd's dance class tonight.

    Happy June!

I hope your DD enjoys her party tomorrow. I would over buy on the favors, you can always return what you don't use. When DS had his birthday party only 4 people RSVP'ed so imagine my surprise when 9 kids showed up. I just quick threw together some extra goodie bags and everything was fine.
Not much going on around here today. Just the usual picking up and throwing out, laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, ect.
I hope everyone has a great first day of June! Have fun.

    Morning all,
I agree about the favors-always better to have more and return them if you need to.

Today is rainy here-kinda humid as well.
I am doing my week's menu based on the week's circular and then grocery shopping. Also have to pick up some cookie supplies as well.
Will wait to do laundry until the weather clears.
Need to dust and vaccum and clean one of the bathrooms.
    Nothing exciting...
Hope you all have a great day!

It's sunny today and warm as usual. The ac is on so I have no clue what the temperature is like outside.

Today is DH's birthday lunch (his coworkers are throwing him a lunch party at a local brewery) so me and DS are going to go there and then to the post office afterwards. The plumber is coming in the afternoon to replace the kitchen faucets and fix up a toilet (landlord is paying for it) and other than that we're just going to stay home I guess. I might do soem garden work in the afternoon since the damn dog dug up a lot of my plants.

Morning all! It's warm & slightly humid here. I don't think it's going to rain even though it looks like it, all grey & overcast out there.

Today starts the beginning of a VERY busy month!! Dd has 2-3 friends coming over to spend the night. We also have the Dairy Festival today, so we'll be walking down to see the parade. Today is also the last awards ceremony at the boys' school and they are both getting awards. Dh is taking an hour off work to meet me there.

    So far I have:
~gotten the kids off to school (w/ home lunches)
~gotten dh off to work (w/ home lunch packed VICTORY!)
    ~had my coffee
    ~taken the dogs out

    Still need to:
    ~vacuum
    ~do the breakfast dishes
~pick up the living room, dining room, kitchen, office
~put away the yard sale stuff I'm gathering for yard sale day in 2 weeks
    ~make my bed
    ~wash & hang out laundry
    ~go to the boys' school
~go to the grocery store for loss leaders & their reduced bakery. They have one of the best reduced bakery stuff around here
    ~work out
    ~go to the parade
    ~make dinner

Julie, Happy Birthday to dd. I also would over-buy on the favors.

It's going to be hot here today. I've been working already this morning. Sorted through all the mail that had been accumulating and organized it in my new mail basket.

I also broke down some boxes to put out for the trash.

I'm working from home today so have some things to do for work.

Also need to make out my budget for June.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. It's foggy here with a threat of rain later today. So far it's just muggy!!!

    So far I've: made bed
change the filters in the ac unit (it's not been on yet)
change filter in the water thingy (it's in a weird spot and you only do it once or twice a year)
    balanced check book.

    Still need to:
    shower and get dress
    pick strawberries and lettuce
groceries for the beginning of the month (which is going to be weird also bc no teens here for the first time in 19 years!)
    vacuum
    wash the dog
    go to bank
    etc

    Have a great weekend everyone!

I agree, I would over buy the party favors. Better to be safe than sorry.

We have all slept in today and just cannot seem to get going. We probably won't do too much until this afternoon when DS has batting practice and a baseball game.

~Clean out another box of junk in DD's room

~Go through some more clothes and throw away what is out dated or worn out

    ~Make some dinner

    ~Take DS to batting practice

    ~Go to DS's baseball game

~Watch a few other games at the ballfield while the kids run around and hang out with their firends and DH visits with his

The sun is starting to peek thru here...hoping to get to the mid 50's today!

    to everyone!

I am late in posting today because I had to attend an autism workshop today for work. I have 3 other autism workshops to attend this month, June 18-20. I guess you can tell in what area I work, special education.

Tonight DH is umpiring a baseball game and I am the official scorekeeper. DS#2 will be going over to his GF's house to watch movies and DS#3 will go to the baseball field with us to watch his friends. He opted not to play this year, so we haven't done much umpiring and scorekeeping this year which is great. It gives us more time for other things. LOL!
