48 Loaves of Free Wheat Bread!!!!
I went to the bread thrift store & bought my usual 24 loaves of 100% wheat bread. The manager told me that b/c of a contract w/ the store, they couldn't sell a certain brand of wheat bread that they had in the back room & asked me if I would like to have it. It was still good & she didn't want it to go to waste. so I recieved an additional...........48 loaves of wheat bread!!
If I were to have bought 48 loaves at the regular bread store, I would have paid $96(goes for $2 a loaf here).YYYEEEAAAHHH!!! I shared some with 2 of my neighbors
Also...the manager said that she would call me if she ever needed to get rid of a surplus again.

How wonderful.... In the right place at the right time....Like my dh while he was putting new plumbing under the house last week....after picking up some needed parts He stopped by KFC at 9:30 pm, and the store was getting ready to close. The store sent home a bucket of biscuits and 3 of everything that they had left. We ate the entire weekend and part of the week on that freebie.
Love it when a plan comes together..

What time should I arrive tomorrow morning for french toast?

That certainly was kind of her to offer it to ya. Another kind act was you sharing with your neighbors. I am sure they appreciated it very much. Heck, I wish I was one of your neighbors.
Enjoy.

That is wonderful. It pays to be a good customer and have a good relationship with the manager. It was kind of her to think of you and to offer you the bread and what a blessing to your family.
