Talking Now I feel so silly.

For three yrs I have been trying to get the upholstery attachment on my steam vac to work. Today I decided I had enough of my dirty couch and I was going to try to get that darn thing to work. So I got on line and searched for the manual. I cant not believe that all this time I was just forgetting to pull out one tiny little prong. It works great and Im so happy I have gone nuts and shampood everything in the house. Now we cant sit down cause all the chairs are wet. My dinning room chairs are like new again...... And now I dont have to pay someone to do the couches.

I guess that was my frugal success for the day!

    Woot!

I hate when I can't get something to work and it's something simple. It happens to the best of us.

Every peice of carpet, rug and or upholstered funrniture is sparkely clean. THe house smells fresh and Im pooped. When I get down and dirty in the house I wear rags and dont even wear a bra, man was I embarassed when a man came to the door. DD didnt have anything on either ! I hate is when people just stop by.

Anyways, Im still trying to think of something else to clean.

I do that all the time, then I just tell myself it only took me "3 years and 5 minutes." Good for you. Isn't the internet great for so many things.

Frugal Girl - I have a hoover steam vac, it has a stair upholstrey bar. I alomst feel bad about stealing it from my bil. When they moved they left it (along with a ton of other stuff ) behind. The idea was that I was goint to clean the house for them and when summer came he was going to pick up the rest of his stuff. But we he came to get his things the steam vac was at my house. I asked if he wanted me to bring it and he said so no. just bring it up with you the next time you come up to MIchigian. That was three yrs ago and I have yet to go to Michigian.
Who moves from FLorida to Michigan anyway?

    Hey Ann,

My car upholstery needs a good cleaning, hint, hint, LOL.

I've never tried using the upholestry nozzle that came with our steamer. Guess it's a good time to try it out. Maybe I can get DH to give it a whirl this weekend. LOL, I'd have better luck winning the lottery.
