Smile What's going on today 6/12?

Not too much here, dd keeps complaining of a tummy ache, so we'll just hang out around the house today. I need to do some housework anyway. Supposed to get hot here later. Have a great day!

We have a friend coming in from Germany today so we'll be doing things with him. He is a locomotive engineer and is traveling through the US via trains. This is his 3rd trip here.

Aside from that, I need to go pick up my Mom's puppy from her. She is flying to Tennessee tomorrow so we'll be babysitting.

Just hanging around the house, maybe going out because my DD is driving me crazy and walking helps with the contrations. They have started and stopped for 2 days now.

Trying to relax a bit today. I have been decluttering some paper trails and working on the checkbook and budget. I also have a load of laundry to hang out to dry which I should go do right now.

As for myself, I've been busy but haven't seemed to get a whole lot done.

I did go to Walmart and used 14 of my $1.00 Boca coupons [still have 4 more here to use but will have to wait for the store to re-stock them.]

There are other things I should be doing but it's dark, gloomy and storming out so ah, what the heck ... the rest can wait. *lol*

    Love,

Dropped DD off at Archives and History museum for her volunteer training session then picked her back up three hours later.

DS and I went out back and took advantage of the pool. He and I swam several laps, spashed the dog and just floated around while we soaked up some rays.

Took DS and his friend to their favorite video game place and dropped them off for a couple of hours.

Picked up DS and his friend from th gaming center and took the friend home.

Then took DD and DS back to the gaming center and will pick them back up in a couple of hours.

    Still need to.....

    .....fix some dinner

    .....call my dad

.....make some reservations for us and the dog at the beach. Looks like we are going down for a short 4 day trip next week.

.....Ice DS's leg down two more times tonight. From his injury in the game Monday night he has a deep thigh bruise that covers over half of his thigh and it is UGLY!!! The doctor took x-rays and there is no break, but he gave him muscle relaxers, pain killers, leg brace/bandage thing and said ice it 3-4 x a day for at least a week.
