Now I feel like a dummy cause I can't get the pic to work. I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

It might be too big. Try decreasing the size if you're trying to post an attachment.

Click "manage attachments" (below this typing/posting area in the section titled "additional options") browse until you find the file on your computer, click upload, wait for it to upload, then post. The size restrictions are listed on the "manage attachments" popup window when you click manage attachments. If the file is too big, it will fail, if it's not too big, then it will show as attached.
