    Default New Update On Samantha ( Not Good )

    They tried to bring her out of the coma this morning
    but she got to thrashing around so much they had to put her back under.
    She has fluid on her lungs and they don't know why.
    Her mom and dad are frantic.. She's their oldest and only girl.
    She has 2 brother's Mikey and Hunter

    am so sorry to hear this. I have not spent much time on the computer lately, so, not up to date on the situation.
    I can tell you though from my experiecne with induced coma, mine was diprovan, likely the same thing she is on. It does tend to make you freak when you come out of the coma. May be because, you are not sure what the heck is happening and your body goes into fight or flight mode. I don't know about the asthma part of and being put in a medically induced coma though. I do know from poly-trauma, while they had me under, I was "calm" took the diprovan off a bit and within minutes you are aroused then shut off instantly when they increase it!
    Her asthma must actually be pretty serious for them to induce a coma. Does she have any other conditions along with that? I don't want to sound all doom though, I am just suprised she has been put under like that. I am sure though whatever the reason it is for Samantha's benefit.
    Prayers, (((hugs))) and good thoughts for the little dear! I know first hand how scary this is and I am sure she is too!
