Hi Everyone, its been awhile.....
I think of you all frequently but life has been soooo busy but good.
We are still digging ourselves slowly out of debt (Student loans and credit from the horrible 2.5 yrs....) but at least it is in the right direction.
I am still homeschooling, tutoring and mystery shopping.....and as a result I am kept far too busy. I have very little computor time these days and am usually too tired at night to visit I yearn for bed....
but tonight I decided to make banana bread so I thought I would check up everyone on FV, while I waited for the loaves to bake.
The children are doing very well!
Eldest is doing very well provincially in the Sprint Kayak racing, her horse is doing great, she is working as a coach (her first REAL job and she is 15). And performing in musical theater.
Son (13) won several big classical composition festivals and actually had a choir piece performed by a professional choir for an audience (yes I am very proud of him). He won quite a lot of money too! He is also kayak racing, playing cello and performing in musical theater.
Dd (9) is an up and coming little fiddler and has her first paid gig with two other fiddlers.....and she enjoys busking for money. She is also doing very well in competitive gymnastics......
All those things we had to put on hold while Dh was unemployed we have allowed the children to start up and move forward with and they are picking them up and running with them.
DH has a great job and loves it.
The problem is I have to try and keep up with all of them! So I live my life on the run.
I am delighted when I can spend some quiet time in my garden..... and lately we have been living out of the crockpot......
At least I have been able to keep up ( and visit with) a couple of my fav. ladies from here. I am so thankful that I live in the same province as them.
I am hoping now that it is summer (and school is officially DONE) that I can pop in more frequently and visit with you all.....
I will be trolling for the frugal tips for the overwhelmed and far too busy......LOL.
Missed you all.

Oh sweetie, it's so wonderful to see your post and know that everything is going so well for you and your family, and while your life may be hectic right now, it's full and you are truly blessed. Those quiet times seem so precious and few don't they? I know, LOL, I've had very few of them myself over the past few months. My garden is my refuge too. LOL, the vegetables don't talk back, they just hang there and listen.
Come be with us when you can, and remember you are always in our thoughts and prayers. Be good to yourself!
