Greetings! Another newbie here. :)
Hi all!
I just recently finished grad school and am in that precarious limbo between one world and the next. School loans are a thing of the past, and I have to start paying them back in November. In addition, I just haven't landed that next-tier job, so I'm living off of a low-paying (albeit full-time) job in my field.
Rather than be miserable in a job I hate (like retail), which pays well but has nothing to do with my field and would therefore make finding a good job very hard to do, I'm looking to cut down as much as possible!
Here's the survey:
How did you hear about frugal village? Found it on google!
What interests you here? Everyday things I can do to save money. It really is the small stuff that counts, so I want to know what I can be doing to stay afloat until I get that REAL job... and how to keep myself in the black even after that!
Do you know any other members here? Not yet!
How many kids? Ages? None. I live alone!
Do you own any pets? One silly cat.
Married or single? Single - well, long-term boyfriend of almost 6 years. We don't live together, though, so I'm on my own as far as expenses go!
Interests and hobbies? Oh, all kinds of things. Reading, video games, crocheting to name a few.
