    Default Shuttle Atlantis in my back yard.

    I am from Nebraska and live about a mile from Offutt Air force Base where the Atlantis is staying tonight. The are taking her back to nasa and stopped in for the night. I will try and see if I can see them take off in the morning.
    I never though I would ever see it in my area as it is usually Florida or California where you see it.

    It really is very cool to watch it take off. When it goes up, we can see it from our back yard. Even though we are across the state.

    It is actually on top of a 747. They showed it landing on the news.

    Yep, that's how they ship it back here. We can see it take off for the shuttle mission from our house.
