    Default MURPHY'S BAAAACK!

    I hate him!!!!I hate him!!!!I hate him!!!!!

Earlier I had shared that our van totally crapped out & we needed to get a loan to replace the entire engine...then it was the house alarm that pooped out....then it was the garage door opener......then my father was in the hospital...........
.........NOW the microwave breathed its last and some of the houseapes have come down with some crappy sinus crud..........& its been raining cats & dogs here for the last few days....all this happening within just 2 weeks time.AAARRRGGGHHH..........I hate him.

okay, rant over.......I need another cup of coffee

Ah, Manyhouseapes, I'm sorry things have been going so badly lately. We were planning to drive down to Corpus tomorrow to see my mom but she nixed the idea since y'all have had about 10 inches of rain yesterday and are getting more today. We've had our share up our way, but not like you guys have had. I'm sending you lots and lots of very good vibes to help you get outta this funk and to make Murphy row away home in his Ark. Hang in there!

well....doesn't look like he's ready to leave here just yet...doggonit.
ya'll can add to the list.....just learned this afternoon my baby will be undergoing surgery on the 18th for some minor abdominal corrections..minor, but its still surgery.*sigh*.
Sorry that you had to cancel the trip to your mom's, Michelle. Although our street didn't get flooded, our back yard is a swamp.....and my 2 big, stupid dogs decided to take a roll under the rabbit cages.....yuck. ds #2 gave them a bath immediately...didn't want the house smelling like a barn.lol......
anyway....when Murphy rows away in his ark...I hope his boat sinks.....and he drowns.........that way, everybody here will be rid of him for good

Geez! What a mess, you poor thing! I'll definitely be keeping your little one in my thoughts. I know I would be stressed no matter how minor the surgery, if it were one of my kids.

    Ahhh...yes...Murphy....know him well.

When it rains..it pours...no pun intended. You all have had your share of rain and troubles...you are more than welcome to send the rain our way.

So sorry you are having all this trouble. Especially that your baby will have to have surgery. At least, whatever is troubling the baby should be corrected by this. Hugs and prayers for you!

thanks everyone for your prayers & encouragement
For some silly reason...I just don't feel stressed about any of this right now. After I got over the shock about how much the beast (van) was going to cost...things mellowed out as far as emotions go....I am kinda laughing b/c I cannot believe that so many things can be thrown at us at one time...purely amazed.lol

add to Murphy's list....now the hairdryer went kaput. I had the thing for about 18 years...worked fine till now. Glad we kept the small EF to cover the rest of Murphy's tricks...we were originally going to put it all on the van & lower the loan for the repairs by $1000.
I hate to dip into the EF b/c its hard to put the money back into it.

when I think of our situation, it reminds me of the movie "The Money Pit" starring Tom Hanks & Shelly Long.
In the movie, there was a couple that was fixing up a huge house & everytime they turned around, something would go wrong...costing them more and more money. There was a scene when something else went kaput & Tom Hanks just lost it & started laughing maniacally.....that's about how I feel....just laughing at the mess b/c there really isn't much else we can do about it.LOL
I am so glad that I found all of you....you have kept me focused

Murphy visits our house every so often. That guy is about as welcome as four day old fish! I hope things look up for you soon.
