    What frugal things are you doing today to celebrate the 4th?

    So it's my day off...(PAID I MAY ADD) and I had to wake up at 7 am and go stake out my front yard to make sure I had room in my own yard to watch the parade. We will watch fireworks tonight from our yard and some friends are having a cookout. BUt it sucks because my husband is gone. It serves as a reminder to me why we celebrate the 4th.

    My best friend just bought a new house so the kids and I are going there for a barbaque.(sp?) She lives on a hill so we will get to see 3 different firework shows.

    Happy 4th of July!! We are grilling hamburgers, tonight. Otherwise, no plans for today. Our city had their fireworks show last night. It was marvelous!

    We are also staying home (conserving gas), grilling out, and if the weather permits the kids will play outside in their wading pool. Don't know though, the sky looks pretty ominous.

    We were supposed to go to friends for a bbq but I went to the e.r last night and have infectious conjunctivits so I am not going anywhere. Dont know what I will make for everyone to eat. Will have to dig around

    Gripey and I are going to float around in the pool this afternoon and then probably cook out this evening. We are dog sitting for our dd, her crate isn't reliable that we have here and she has separation anxiety (plus she's HUGE=a lot of damage can occur when she's left alone) so we can't really go anywhere. Looking forward to a quiet day at home.

    Got a boston butt on the grill to have later. I'm getting ready to put my swimsuit on and float around in the pool. We will go watch fireworks tonite.
