What's up on Thurs. 7/5?

DD and I are doing nothing today. Just a little housework, then hanging out and relaxing. It is cloudy here, may rain later. Still hot out though.

I am so excited today. My living room floor is FINALLY going to be finished today. This has turned out to be the biggest pain in our butt to complete. I am so happy, Joe will be here at 9:30 to get it taken care of. Cost me an extra $200, but at this point, it is worth it.

Have to take DD to volunteer and then pick her up this afternoon.

My sweet little dog Frannie has to be dropped off at the groomer this morning. She hates the groomers, but she will be ok. Will need to pick her up this afternoon also.

John and I are just going to hang around the house while Joe does the floor. We hung 24 pictures last night and have at least that many more left to hang so we may work on that.

Tonight the kids are going to the gaming center for two hours while I watch Pirate Masters.

Looks like it's going to be warm and sunny- love this summer weather and don't miss the awful white stuff at all.So far I have:
*Biked
* Pet chores
*Made bed, straightened bedroom
*Washed linens and have them on the line
*Vacuumed out pantry
Still plan on:
*Cleaning upstairs landing and the guest rooms
*Hair appointment
*Supper
*Swimming

Ok - change of plans. Joe just called and he has been called in to work. He is now coming Saturday to finish my floors. I am so sad about this. Told you this floor has been nothing but a pain in the butt.

Good morning!

It's another cool, cloudy day. Rain threatening already. The boys are supposed to have t-ball tonight, but it may get canceled because of the thunderstorms that the forecast is calling for.

I need to get some bedding done, but I really don't want to use the dryer. I may have to because we have rain in the forecast all week

I also need to vacuum the downstairs and sweep & mop the kitchen & dining rooms.

As nice as holidays are, I'm always so happy to get back to the normal routine. Today we're cleaning and organizing and putting some stuff up on Freecycle (mostly baby items). I'm also listing some more stuff on eBay. Oh and we need to go to the library later on but I might do this alone tonight when DH is home and DS is sleeping.

Have the day off work today. Just now trying to get around. DD and her friend are still sleeping and DH has gone to work. On the to do list today.

1. Laundry
2. Dinner
3. Go to the Building supply store
4. Go to Eddie Bauer
5. Tidy up office/craft room
6. Wait for cable guy to come and set up new internet
7. Craft and sew.
8. Bank

We slept in until 9am, it was great. Even my 3yr old splet till 9am because we were up so late for the fireworks. Just going to go grocery shopping and mabye to the lib.

I'll wash a load of clothes & hang them in the laundry room to dry

cleaned shower
done daily reading
took meds
had breakfast
replant aloe & lavender plants
rearrange freezer
garbage & recycle out
garbage can to curb
mail out
planned dinner
make a couple orders online

~had breakfast w/Gripey
~let dogs out, fed and watered them
~took dd's big dog for a 1 3/4 mile walk (was shooting for 2 miles but she gave out on me)
~cleaned both bathrooms, top to bottom
~washed bathroom rugs, hung out to dry
~washed dog bedding, hung out to dry
~showered, did hair, got dressed....lol
Am about to:
~have lunch with Gripey
~put away some laundry
~reconcile 1 or 2 bank statements
On my 'might' do list
~post credit card bill (depending on how long the bank statements take)
~dust and vac living room and bedroom for a friend who has a broken leg (either today or tomorrow)
~swim
~go to friends' house for dinner....might bake something for dessert.

That's it for me today....partly cloudy and 68 here right now with a good breeze going at the moment (probably no swimming).

Went to a training meeting at work from 8am-10am
Put dinner in the crockpot
Put a load of laundry in the wash
Walked down the street to check the mail

My plans:
Go through the coupons and throw out expireds, add new ones in
Check the sales flyers for any Frees
Do more laundry
Maybe take a walk, because it's really nice out today
Go back to work to close from 7pm-11pm

A pretty productive day, I think.
