Default Such wonderful sounds and a beautiful sight....

.....listening to the banging and sawing as I watch the floor guy finish up my new living room floor. This process has been a royal pain and I am so excited to see it will finally be complete in a matter of an hour or so.

The couch and loveseat can come out of my kitchen, the coffee table and recliner can come out of the laundry room, and the entertainment center can finally be put in the front living room instead of the back one. Do you know how hard it is to cook meals with a couch in your kitchen? Wash clothes with a coffe table in front of the washer and a recliner blocking the dryer?

I know I am going on and on and on.....but I am SO EXCITED!!! I never thought I would be so thrilled by something like a new floor. Boy, I am getting OLD.

Glad things are getting back to normal for you. It always unnerves me to have things out of place at home.

I love wood floors also. Our home has beautiful wood throughout and I would have it no other way.Carpet to me is a home for germs and dust mites.Enjoy those shiny beautiful floors.I am so happy it is almost finished!!

I hate it when things are out of place, so I feel your pain.

Yep...A big old pain in the butt.

Seems as though we ran into a slight snag yesterday and now the completion of my floor has been once again postponed. They were within thirty minutes of being done and issues arise. Oh well, they will be back in a couple of days to finish. Until then, I am going ahead and moving the furniture back in its place. I need a day or two of "normalcy" for my sanity.
