Stupid people should not reproduce

I'm on line at the grocery store, arguing with the asst. mngr over a $7 charge etc. For about 15 minutes I hear them frantically paging about a mini van-I figured it got hit in the lot, whatever. I get out to my car, load my groceries and the baby and hear a woman frantically talking to a closed minivan, store manager and a few other people gathered around. I asked her "tell me there's a baby in there?" Her answer "There's 2!" The mother had been gone for nearly 1/2 hour and noone had done anything but page her in the store and watch to make sure the kids weren't taken. It was over 85 degrees out! Can I tell you that I flipped out. It took me less than 3 minutes to break into the car, I did a few hundred dollars in damage but according to my lawyer no judge will entertain the case because it was not done maliciously. Had the police and an ambulance called. It was another 10 minutes before the mother showed up! She was in the store buying papertowels!!!! and tried saying it was less than 5 minutes. I have never wanted to physically hurt another human being so much in my entire life. I cannot imagine, one baby was about 3 years and the other maybe 9 mos. It had to be 100 degrees in that van. When the mother showed up I handed the baby to the officers, I couldn't bring myself to even give the baby to her. I had to get in my car and leave immediately I was so angry I was shaking. I was angry at the mother for her stupidity and at the people in the parking lot that didn't immediately call the police and were too afraid to damage a vehicle, an object, to prevent a baby from getting heat stroke, or worse, how do you not act when this is presented. I probably shouldn't leave the house, one day people are going to push me over the edge. This got long, sorry, need to vent. ----Kellie

You were absolutely positively in the right to do what you did. And anything that idiot woman says to the contrary is pure and malicious

. So on court day, if it gets that far, just sit back, relax and enjoy the judge repremanding her for being an absolute moron.

Bless you. My good woman the only thing I would have also done is to report the incident to social services as well.Thank Goodness you were there when you were.

i cant believe that no one else did anything about that! they knew that the kids being in there was wrong because they were all standing around watching them but.. i mean seriously.. they were just going to let them cook in there. im so glad you got them out. and that mother.. i dont have the words.

Down here in FL you are arrested for leaving kids and animals in the car. You did the right thing, good for you!

I know here in Ca you go to jail and CPS takes your kid. I would have called the police then broke a window......... I am a firm beleiver of some people should never have children, and should be nutered.... poor babys

you did the right thing....not only by saving those 2 precious kids, but also from refraining from knocking their poor excuse for a mother on her stupid a**.I don't think that I would've been that nice to her.

you did the absolute right thing in this case. you saved 2 little kids lives and if there were more people in the world that would stand up for whats right. child abuse and neglect are on a fast course. just turn on the tv. God bless you for taking notice and helping the helpless.
