Update: Apartment-Getting-RID-OF Prayers Please!

So now I have to deal with the apartment that we have!

We were hoping that since we're students and won't be able to afford our current apartment, we'd be able to get out of the apartment contract a little easier.

Naive, of course.

We have four options to get out of the contract:

~ give them three month's notice (not quite fiesable if we're paying to rent the other apartment)

~ go through the 30 Day Buy Out Program: Give them 30 days notice, then pay for the thirty days, and then the following two months that you're there. Oh, did I mention that you have to pay all that up front?!

~ find a subletter, or

~ find someone else to take on the apartment.

So.... any kind of suggestions or prayers you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated.

Talk it up at school and work, put it in the paper, put it in the laundrumat, everywhere, grocery stores etc.

Ugh...that stinks! Sorry they're bein' stinkers... I like the idea of putting up fliers...school would probably be a good spot!

I would put up notices everywhere, too. I'm sure there is someone out there looking just like you were and maybe will take your apartment. That is what I will pray for.
