One night a friend of mine was in her kitchen and heard rustling under her cabinet. She called her husband in to see what it was, the kids were all screaming. Her dh looked in and saw it was a large mouse. He quickly caught it by putting a coffee can over it and dragged it out from under the cabinet...He ran outside and threw the can and its occupant out in the woods behind the house. About an hour later, her son started yelling that the hamster was missing! The poor guy was outside all night with a flashlight trying to find the poor little thing. They never did find it. The poor guy felt awful.

Aww, poor thing. We had one of our hamsters escape to the outside & it was found a few days later (when I heard a scratching noise) in the dryer vent, lol.
