Default What are you doing this weekend?

Hey, what is everyone doing this wild weekend?

I am at loose ends because my kids are with my parents for the rest of the month. So , single chick that I am, what am I doing?

    1.) Working on my budget
2.) Organizing the closets (got a dandy contraption from WalMart that doubles the hanging space!)
    3.) Laundry
    4) Cleaning the main floor
5.) Hitting the library to get a good book.

    No wonder I am single!

You have had a busy weekend Karen . I went with my fiance to his friend John's wedding on Saturday. It was a very nice outdoors wedding and inside reception. It was laid back and pretty casual. It was also nice to have a free dinner, our fridge/freezer broke and we didn't discover it until Friday night at around 10pm. All the food had spoiled because it must have been broken for at least two days, I work many hours and we are both busy and on the go and neither of us noticed. The landlord is supposed to put a new one in or "fix" the old one, I want a newer one because I don't want this to happen again! I approximate about $100 or more in food spoiled .

Dh is working all weekend so it's just me & the kids. Yesterday we went to the dollar store & they played in their wading pool while I knitted. Today, I think we're just gonna stay home & chill. I have laundry to do and a whole lotta knittin' goin' on

Yesterday we went to a parade, so that took up most of our day.

Today we are going to do laundry and clean everyone's bedrooms upstairs.
We need to get organized to go on vacation.

And.. I need to attempt to read a book for my book club meeting Monday. Yikes!! I have a lot to read!

I took my ddad to a surprise bd party for his brother that was 5 hours away. We left on Friday, went to the party, spent the night and got home yesterday afternoon. I did nothing but unpack yesterday. Was in bed and snoring by 10 last nite Gripey did yard and pool work while I was gone.

Today we're just hanging out. Gripey's cookin' brunch for me and dad and himself. After we clean that up, I think it's lounging in the pool for us. Got a busy week ahead so rest is the order of the day here. Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Saturday Dh and I went to see the B52's at the casino. They were great. I had seen them a few years ago there too and we did a little gambling and I came home with $34.00 extra! Today, family visiting, swimming in the pool and the dog park later.

Went over to BIL house yesterday. He is leaving for Kosovo for a year, so we all went over to have dinner.

Today we will just sit around the house, maybe get some cleaning done.

Yesterday I did a Demo for Chocolate Covered Altoids at Publix. Got home and we ate dinner and watched a movie ; I also did laundry and cleaned the bathrooms.....today DH and I went on a lunch "date" We hopped on the bikes and road to the Flea Market for some fruits and veggies then we went to Bennigans and used my "Happy Birthday" certificate for a BOGO lunch. We then took the long way home. We swam for a bit and I went to the Nursing Home and polished my mom's fingernails. I am now gonna take a break and watch some episodes of Desperate Housewives (from a library DVD).

Well Yesterday my DH and a whole bunch of friends surprised me with a 40th B-Day party. I stayed up way to late and drank a little to much. Spent the night at some friends in a sucky bed so I didn't get much sleep.

Today I am cleaning up the house from all the stuff we brought home. Thankfully some of that was dinner. Don't have to cook (yeah). Other than that just cleaning and tidying. Later I will be crafting.
