Name the Festivals in your town
We were thinking of going to a festival this next weekend and it got me thinking there are a ton of festivals in Minnesota.
10,000 Lakes Fest
Duk Duk Daze
Raspberries and Wine Festival
Minnesota Garlic Festival
Stiftungsfest
These are just a couple I am considering going to before I have to go back to work.
What are some in your state?

Now it's the Washington Cherry Festival but it used to be Good Neighbor Days. They still give out the good neighbor award to someone every year.

The main thing we have is Jubilee CityFest. It is a 2 or 3 day gathering downtown with the focus being musical acts. It is $45 per day per person, not worth it to me so we don't go.
We have lots of craft fairs throughout the year. Plus, we have the state fair.
About an hour or so south of here they have the annual Rattle Snake rodeo and a little farther down the road has the annual Peanut Festival. Birmingham - an hour nort of here has City Stages once a year.DD (19)

We have Meeker Days here in memory of Ezra Meeker who was one of the original homesteaders in our town. His home is still here & is opened for tours. I've been twice, once in grade school & a few years ago with my dad & DD. Everything is original & absolutaly beautiful. It really takes you back to that time period.
There is also the Daffadil sp? parade.

The biggest festival in my city is Fiesta in April and we also have the Stock Show & Rodeo in February and the Folklife Festival in June, but then there's The Strawberry Festival (Poteet), The Watermelon Thump (Luling), Cornyval (Helotes), Wurstfest (New Braunfels), Watermelon Jubilee (Stockdale) and the Bluebonnet Festival (Burnet), to name just a few.
