Default Do you use an alarm clock to wake up by?

I am going back to work after the birth of my DD and have been on bed rest since Feb. Tomorrow will be the first time in 5 months since I have used it. Do you have to use an alarm clock to wake by?

I do but a lot of the time I seem to wake up within 15min of it going off. I have mine set to play a country music station instead of a jarring alarm.

No my DH is x-airforce and still gets up at 5am. No clock for him it was drilled in after 12 years. He makes coffee, lets the dogs out and catches the early news then comes back to bed at 6:30 and cuddles me awake. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't. I normally do not have to be awake by a certain time. If I do have something to do my mom will call and wake me. I can sleep through an alarm clock but not a phone.

My alarm is my kids. Haha. But even when they sleep in, I usually wake up between 6:30 and 7am.

I set my alarm for 5 am, wake up dh and then go back to sleep. He wakes me when he leaves at 6:00.

Nope, Gripey and I usually wake up around 6-6:30 naturally. I love NOT using an alarm clock.

I have, have, have to have an alarm clock to wake me up...otherwise I know I would sleep until 8:00. My alarm goes off around 6:20 and I lay in bed listening to the news and weather until 6:45 when I have to drag myself out of bed to get ready for the day.

I do. I have to have one or I will not wake up in time to dress, eat, and leave. I would be late every day if I didn't have one.

I use an alarm clock every day, and I have to have it set on LOUD to hear it throuhg my earplugs. If you're going to use one, I strongly recommend you put it across the room so that you'll have to get out of bed to shut it off. That snooze button is just too tempting sometimes.

I am NOT a morning person, but normally wake up 6ish as nature calls, then linger in bed and doze for another hour til I need to get up. So, no, 99% of time do not need an alarm. When I need to get up early for early work meeting, trip, etc....I lately have been setting my cell phone alarm. Seems to do a better job of waking me up.

I would sleep all day without an alarm. I have to have one to get out of bed if I have to be somewhere.
